DeSantis Drops Out of 2024 Presidential Race, Endorses Trump

by Madeleine Hubbard

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Sunday dropped out of the 2024 Presidential race and endorsed former President Donald Trump.

“We don’t have a clear path to victory,” DeSantis said in a video posted on X.

DeSantis left the race before New Hampshire residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote in the nation’s first Republican primary.

By exiting the race, the 2024 Republican primary is now down to just Trump and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley.

GOV RON… you now can call a Special Session to install your FLAT TAX… or Trifecta:
Using Marco Rubio’s 15 year old plan of 4% Sales Tax on 85% of gross receipts rather than our paltry 35%… updated to 6% to allow ending all local property taxes / other assessments; PLUS cover Named Storm with $20 BN left over!!
NAMED STORM simply deleted from HO-3 policy wording, to be covered 100% by FL HCAT fund including Surge now excluded in recent IAN or Idalia!!
That $20 BN annually has averaged just $4 BN for Named Storm / might be doubled to $8 BN when Surge is covered also!!
Insurers have proven since Andrew they were telling it like it remains… they got neither the capacity nor inclination to cover FL hurricanes!!
A $100,000 worker at 6% would be paying $5,100 on his 85% of gross receipts … none I talked with are getting out cheaper than $5,000 for ‘Wind’ and $5,000 Property Taxes !!
